September of 2020 I went with my mom to Cancun, Mexico. It was technically for her work (she is a travel agent as well) so she went to tour different hotels while I relaxed at the resort. We stayed at the El Dorado Royale Casitas all-inclusive resort.

The casitas were little cabana-type rooms and each section of the rooms had its own pool. The room was nice and big and had a nice relaxed feel. My absolute FAVORITE part was the outside shower. It was connected to the bathroom but it was open air. So… I got to take a night shower and look up at the stars!

The resort itself is so beautiful. It also has many different sections, so if you don’t catch a golf cart shuttle then you will get a workout with all the walking! The first picture I have is their ocean-water pool which is stocked with some (super cute) little fish. They also offer many activities and entertainment. I did not attend any of the day activities but all the night entertainment was SO good.

Lastly, the all-inclusive food and drinks: The bartenders in the pool area were always so nice and did a wonderful job. The food was all good. I will say that the Mexican restaurants were by far the best, but there wasn’t anything bad about the other ones I ate at. I had chilaquiles for breakfast two mornings in a row because it was so good! Now I have to learn how to make it. One night I went to a 5-course meal “experience” where they also had a wine pairing. The whole experience was so fun, so tasty, and just an overall great time. I would say this was the best meal I had and the dessert tequila was so good my mom just had to buy some! I highly recommend going to Fuentes for the dinner.
